Christian Music Reviews
I will slowly be adding reviews of my most favourite Christian music CDs here. I'm only getting started here so please be patient and come back often.
First of all, a few words about me, so you know what to expect. My name is Christian, and I'm the author and webmaster of this site. I know... It's a good name to have as a Christian...
I'm a hard-rocking guy at heart. When I was young, long before I became a Christian other than in name, I grew up with heavy metal in the 80s, hardcore indie rock, and lots and lots of aggressive punk rock. Loved the Ramones, Suicidal Tendencies (ouch!), Bon Jovi (still do, but only the old stuff), and lots of German punk. You guessed it... I was born in Germany.
That doesnt mean I dont have a softer side. Some of my recommendations that youll see here may surprise you, but you can only bang your head for so long until you need to calm down.
Christian music is such an important part of my life. Christian music in any form or shape glorifies God. Singing of His Glory is divine worship, whether it is punk rock, rap, hardcore, traditional hymns, Celtic worship music, or cheesy pop (I have a weakness for that too when Im in the mood). For that reason, I deeply respect any Christian music artist who worships God in His glory. That doesnt mean that I have to listen to it all. But you wont find me dissing any Christian music here. No sincere Christian artist deserves that. If I dont like it, I dont review it.
There are many Christian artists that have had a profound effect on my life. If stumble or I fear I will, I know what to listen to to get me back on track.
